TAGGED TRUMPETER SWANS, PORT PERRY, ON
Saw these two Trumpeter Swans on a sandbar from the Scugog Causeway (7A) in Port Perry, ON. The first two photos are of the same swan. Both swans had auxiliary markers on their wings. Reported these to the USGS Bird Banding Lab.

BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING DUCK AT EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FLORIDA
This morning Sharon and I took a walk in Eagle Lakes Community Park and sighted and photographed a new species for our Life List, a Black-bellied Whistling Duck. This is a pretty distinctive bird:
- Red bill
- Reddish-brown back
- Black belly & underwing
- Pink legs
- Grey face
- White upperwing stripe

BLACK SKIMMER AT CLAM PASS PARK/BEACH IN NAPLES, FL
While walking along Clam Pass Beach we saw in the distance a sandbar with gulls, terns and Black Skimmer's on it. The Black Skimmer is a new species to our Life List, which now stands at 131.
