Sharon and I went to Leslie St. Spit/Tommy Thompson Park today to do some birding. Along the way, Sharon sighted a wing tagged Trumpeter Swan. The swan had a yellow tag with the black characters R42 on its right wing. We reported the sighting to the USGS Bird Banding Laboratory and to the Trumpeter Swan Society.
